of the biologist Sea...
each fraction of the remotest shore
enacted th'Eruption of Balance

--harmony over the universal irrelevance
of life, with as brilliant ancestors

Would and Should its parents

absorbed in th'announcements of sound!
beings of the wet & dark conquered th'Light

& dry land, once there: lounging
in their victory's dirt-
ground-
ed ... dumbfounded in th'sunlight,
made a clay

resourceful ancient Man
winked, & wound
his history about th'unspeaking Sounds
